Recordings of teachings at PDC website
Lama Zangmo will guide us through the meaning and the traditional chanting practice of Medicine Buddha (via Zoom). We will practice together, and Lama will demonstrate ritual details that overlap with other Tibetan Buddhist practices, such as making offerings and mudras (sacred gestures). All are welcome!
Sponsored by our sister center Palpung Drupgyu Chödzong, in Washington DC. Via Zoom Link to join (Palpung DC) | Medicine Buddha text (PDF file) Text will also be screen shared.
Lama Zangmo completed three consecutive three-year retreats at Palpung Thubten Choling in upstate New York and is a member of the monastic community there. They are currently pursuing a masters degree in Buddhist philosophy and meditation at Tergar Institute in Kathmandu, Nepal, with an emphasis on education methodology and group facilitation.
Hello,
Unfortunately, I was not able to attend the first Teaching on 8/10/2024.
Is there a recording of the Teaching available?
All the Best,
Dan Gussin
Hi, Dan, the DC center is sponsoring this. Check their website. http://www.kagyudc.org I know it was recorded but don’t know when / how it will be accessible. I hope it will be ready soon!
