Lama Zangmo of Palpung Thubten Choling will lead an in-person teaching (also on Zoom) on Abhidharma, a collection of texts, or sutras, that comprises the earliest known recording of words attributed to the historical Buddha. Study of the Abhidharma is relevant to all schools of Buddhism, and all are cordially invited to attend.
The teaching will be made in two sessions, 10 am to noon and 2 to 4 pm, with a lunch break between. A simple vegetarian lunch is included with your donation (scroll down). Directions & access to Ekoji | Attend by Zoom


Lama Zangmo completed three consecutive three-year retreats at Palpung Thubten Choling in upstate New York and is a member of the monastic community there. They are currently pursuing a masters degree in Buddhist philosophy and meditation at Tergar Institute in Kathmandu, Nepal, with an emphasis on education methodology and group facilitation.
A suggested donation of $20 per session will help cover Lama’s travel, food, and other expenses.
